Facility & Equipment

Always filled with energetic music pumping through our TV’s and surround speaker system, the facility is grouped into two areas – The first area (about 4,500 square feet) is equipped with a custom racking system for our group training classes. We have the ability to host up to 44 individuals at once without having to move around the room or share any equipment. 24 squat racks are available for you to partner up with a workout buddy and make sure that your lifting safely.

The second area (5,500 square feet) is available to any member when they’re not participating in a group class. We have 4 squat racks, a dumbbell lifting area, treadmills, stair climbers, air runners, rowers, ski machines, assault bikes, spin bikes, and ellipticals, along with climbing ropes, punching bags, tires to flip, soft boxes to jump on and more. Next to our kids play area, there’s also a 35-yard turf section to complete any type of sports training, plyometrics or agility exercises.

Group Training Classes

Each of our 50-minute group workouts are broken up into a few different phases and are instructed by at least 1 certified personal trainer who is available before and after class.

Body preparedness and maintenance is important to us, so most of our workouts begin with “The Warmup” followed by foam rolling to make sure our muscles are ready for what’s to come.

Focusing mostly on strength and resistance training, the second phase of our workout is called “The Lift.” In this phase we focus on compound barbell/dumbbell movements such as squats, deadlifts, or presses and take time to make sure our members are using correct form so they can progress with the movement free from injury.

“The Flex” is the third phase where work through a variety of timed interval exercises using additional tools such as TRX, resistance bands, sand bags, kettlebells, etc. to create a metabolic burn.

All workouts end with “The Finisher,” which is mostly a maximum effort functional style set to do exactly as it says – finish you! After that, we spend a few minutes with a guided cool down.

Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays are focused on building strength while Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays are reserved for more core and cardio exercises…But don’t let this schedule fool you, there are lots of core and resistance exercises worked into all of our classes.

Our Community

Many of our members are in phenomenal shape, but we are not an “elite athlete” or “body builder” gym. Instead, we pride ourselves in being “everyone’s gym.” The diversity of people is what makes Sierra Tango Fitness so special. Within minutes of entering, we know someone will welcome you, it’s just who we are. Everyone is a member for different reasons, but we’ll do nothing but support you and cheer you on as we work together towards your goals.
